Before I start, I'd like to say that this is not an etiquette lecture. Most of these guidelines use simple common sense. As mentioned earlier, if something seems wrong, don't do it.
Firstly, while playing in Alsherok, you should never ever abuse other people using vulgar or degrading language. If you are harassed or abused whether by action or by words by any other player, you should not hesitate to inform any one of the immortal players. Don't respond to the abuser with more abuse. We will take strict action on the guilty party.
Secondly, if you encounter a bug that allows you or anyone else to cheat, don't hesitate to report it. Helping Alsherok become a better place also helps you in turn create a better environment for yourself to play in.
Thirdly, don't steal items from other players. This is dishonorable behavior and is frowned upon by all. If you find something lying around, ask first before keeping it.
Fourthly, don't steal other player's kills. If someone is fighting something and you are not part of their group and they did not ask you for assistance, don't jump in. Let the player fighting the creature kill it on their own. Likewise, if you are teamed up with other players, try to find a good way of splitting the treasures gained during your adventuring. It doesn't pay to adopt a selfish attitude.
Lastly, don't ever spam any of the communication channels. Spamming means to repeat the same thing over and over again and annoy other players. The spamguard will automatically disconnect any player entering the same command 20 times in a row. The immortals will take action on those who violate the use of the communication channels this way. Be friendly and understanding to the feelings of others. This is a game for everyone to enjoy.
